Reviews
I normally really like Chipotle for a quick and affordable lunch or dinner, but this location needs work. I ordered a veggie bowl online for pick up, and it was barely full and had too much salsa. Plus, they had long lines to order food, so that may contribute to why orders are not being made correctly. Hopefully, they can do better.
All the tables were dirty with leftover food.i ordered a burrito bowl with barbacoa meat. Was given a small spoonful of the meat. Barely given any rice. I asked for more and wad ignored. Would not recommend this to anyone who wants to pay $12-14 for a small bite to eat
Ordered a burrito, noticed a hair in the sour cream, line worked just went around his in the vat and didn't do anything about it. additionally, the entire line was not properly cleaned, non food items (papers for orders) falling on the grill. i just felt disgusted after going in and could barely eat my burrito. I rated this location through their app but it hardly feels commiserate for how sloppy their food line was. Maybe everything else was clean, but MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE AREA THAT YOU PREPARE YOUR FOOD CLEAN
Live right next door and have been going to this location for years. I usually try and go to another location because I do enjoy the food, but this location needs work. I worked at chipotle in high school, and did everything from Prep, to Grill and even Line. The people here have attitude problems, and they will tend to not give you a 4 oz portion of meat like they’re supposed to. Although, there are people that are nice and will give you a 4 oz serving of protein. I ask for light beans, and only get corn salsa, guac and light cheese. It’s just weird because they will give you 1.5 scoops of rice (which is more than the standard 4 ounces) but try and skimp on the chicken and guac like it’s coming out of their paycheck.
I’m never the type to leave a bad review or anything (check my reviews they’re all 5 star reviews), but as someone that worked at chipotle for years during high school. I know what 4 ounces of meat is and the fact that they will get passive aggressive when you ask for the standard 4 ounces of protein or a little more guac when they filled your burrito mostly with rice is just absurd. I’ve only asked for the standard scoop a handful of times, I usually just order extra chicken and pay for it because I hate being that person.
Try and find a different location…. Most of the people here don’t care, but not all of them! Some are great people. I try to be nice to everyone and say thank you, and less than half will reply. But hey, this is Chicago, as someone that was raised to have manners - I can tell that many of the people from this city didn’t have the same level of parenting.
Whoever manages this location needs to be fired and replaced ASAP. Food station is never clean and one serving of meat is a joke forcing you to get double. They run out of everything at around 6:45pm. Never had this issue at other locations.
This location might be one of the worst run in the city. They’re slow to greet, have TERRIBLE attitudes, purposely are skimpy with the food and bring Chipotle a bad rep. It’s squarely on the people working there — miserable location. If it weren’t for convenience of location, I think they’d have zero returning customers.
The worst Chipotle in all of Chicago. Hostile stuff, poor food quality, small portions. Consistent turnover of the individuals working there. I believe this location has extremely poor management in place that has forgotten about treating their customer the right. Please do not go here and take your money elsewhere.
If I could give this experience 0 stars I would, only because my carnitas burrito bowl had too much liquid from the pico, which made for a very disgusting lunch. I ended up throwing my food and drink away.
